(2012 – 2013) with three divisions: – 1 – Business Administration Department. 2- Department of Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics. 3- The Department of Arabic Language and later, other departments were created, namely, the Department of Pathological Analysis Techniques, according to the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Department of Private University Education with the number (TAH / AQ 3938 / dated 12/30/2015), and also a section The law was introduced according to the book number (TAH / AQ / 3236 on 5/9/2016) issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Department of Private University Education, and the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education was also created according to the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Education Al-Ahly University with a number (TAH / AQ / 5700AD on 8/17/2017 and the book with the number TAH / AQ / 5788 dated 8/17/2017), and the Arabic Language Department was changed from Literature to Education according to The book with a number (d. H / A Block 8858 dated 11/15/2017), and two buildings have been allocated to it, the first in the central district of Kut, and the other on the road to the Technical Institute in Kut Al-Saffha area, with an area of no less than 50 dunums of total with construction, and work is continuing to develop them horizontally, vertically, administratively and scientifically .

The college has extensive international relations with well-established international universities, and has entered the international classification of the British QS, as it is the first among all Iraqi universities in the Spanish Matrix Web Ranking, and it has publications, books, magazines and a newspaper issued through the research, studies and publishing unit of the college, and it has its own magazine Scientific paper-based with an international standard number (issn, p: 2414-7419) and electronic by an international standard number (issn, e: 2612-7808)), a court in the name of the Journal of Al-Kut University College, and it also has an international journal for human sciences research, and several scientific centers have been opened in it, including : The Center for Studies, Research, Studies and Publication, the TOEFL Center, IC 3, and the Persian Language Center, in addition to being very advanced in the results of the joint scientific sobriety exams with other public and private universities, and the college joined the Association of Islamic Universities after submitting an application; To obtain the membership of the Association of Islamic Universities and is now a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Islamic Universities representing Iraq, as it represented Iraq as the first university in this association, and it has major contributions to serve the Iraqi community and those with limited income, and to provide job opportunities for citizens, and has been working on graduating degree holders in various specializations And it encouraged the first students by exempting them from the tuition fees, and granting them study expenses for those who are distinguished desires to complete their studies in universities inside and outside the country, and the college is now seeking to create new.
